About The Artwork

Six photogram squares connect to create the first layer of this collage. Can you see a young Mick Jagger staring back at you? Mounted on white mat board in a white 20” x 16" traditional frame, lines zig, zag, jog, and curve back as if they continue to move. Photograms are made in the darkroom by placing 3-dimensional objects on the photographic paper and exposing it like you would a negative. I used rubberbands to create lively, animated, white lines on a black background. The collage materials are Artforum Magazines cut in circles using a laser cutter. Each piece is much brighter in real life.
