About The Artwork
My hometown is late fall. Foliage has already fallen from the trees, and snow has appeared on the tops of the mountains. To show the complexity of the landscape, I used paper and cardboard in 10 layers, sky, mountains, sea and mountains again. Northern landscapes are multifaceted and beautiful.

My name is Mary and I am 29 years old. I live in the North of Russia, beyond the Arctic Circle. I believe that I am really lucky because I was born in extremely picturesque and harsh region. Each of my days is full of incredible beauty which I try to show in my postcards and posters. I work in a very unusual technique with using design cardboard in several layers and decorating it with embroidery and beadwork. Mostly, on my artworks there is the flora and fauna of the North. However, mountain landscapes and cities begin to papear.
