About The Artwork
A collage of my new series called FROM DOOR TO DOOR. They are a set of paintings inspired by great masters of universal art as a dream, in impossible compositions in time and space. Noche Toledana is inspired by a work by El Greco entitled "View of Toledo" (1599) and a detail of The Three Graces from the painting "Allegory of Spring" (1478) by Sandro Botticelli. A door drawn in charcoal draws atenttion to the most important element of the composition: the Spanish city of Toledo.
