Jeff Burriss is an abstract artist who lives and works in Auckland , New Zealand. I describe my work as a diverse , multi-layered space in which the irrational and unconscious can unfurl freely. A universe of the absurd nourishes my creative expression, and I feel my works are shaped in part by humour , and in part by a sense of seriousness and melancholy. Being creative has always been a huge aspect in my life, fueling a passion and creating a unique expressive vocabulary in the art I create.
