About The Artwork
Pixel Food is kind of critique about the stock trading of crop and the devastating consequences for rural people in threshold countries. The transformation of crop into abstract dealings on pixelised screens around the world. As I come from the print media as a comunicationdesigner often I questioned myself whats the core of my life with all the overwhelming mediainformation around me. The collage symbolize the information-background-noise that every day is a part of my life. The overpaintet issue will allways let show through in different degrees this "noise". The opacity symbolize the degree, how much I am myself aware, that there is no escape for me from the surrounding influences.
