ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Sometimes the papers I have collected influence the compositions. I enjoy working with old paper with its creases and worn surfaces. This is part of an ongoing house series, building streets from nothing, exploring shapes and form. Materials - An old hardback book cover and vintage papers. Spontaneity drives what I do. Less planning and more playing with paper. Signed and titled on the front. Dated on the back. All artworks incorporate vintage elements so should be handled with care.

Cassia is inspired by the world around her; collecting discarded books and papers, finding objects on the beach and sometimes incorporating her own photography. While her materials of choice are mostly paper, Cassia also makes mixed media pieces with her finds on the beach. Re-using things no longer needed by others.
