In this collection of artworks I mixed together the beauty of classic Hollywood stars and the beauty of the most famous art portraits. The search for the right pictures is never easy. It’s not just a matter of finding the “perfect angle”, but often a need to find that very same detail without which the artwork wouldn’t be the same. A particular hat, for example, or the same position of the hands. Drafts are endless, but the end result always pays off the hard work: fascinating, beautiful, mesmerizing, hypnotic, just plain weird…you name it. Each mashup adds a new level of perception to faces and paintings we are all familiar with.
