ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Influenced by Modigliani and Giacometti as they both painted the elongated woman. I was also influenced by a recent trip to Paris and New York where I visited the most amazing galleries, on one occasion I saw an exhibition of Francis Picabia and loved his Avant-garde works. The salon series is also endeavoring to evoke the salons of Paris in the 16th century ... a place where woman were able to evolve
