ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I’m an aspiring amateur boxer. The Sweet Science series is the first time I’ve been able to combine my passion for art and boxing. This piece crops in on the form of a professional boxer at the height of physical exertion. The white lines are created by slicing the photograph, allowing the background paper to show through. The lines are inspired by movement and muscle structure.
