ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Tickets to the Flower Show” was influenced by my collection of museum tickets from 50 years of travel. The colorful, intricate designs lent themselves to the creation of unique flowers. For the center of each flower I used old coins. The artwork is both realistic and abstract. The viewer can look closely to see The Acropolis and the Egyptian Pyramids. “Tickets to the Flower Show” is a three dimensional collage. It is framed in a brown shadow box ready to hang.
