Collage: Paper, Ink on Paper.

Ink wash drawing and collage on watercolor paper. In this series, scraps of salvaged, vintage wallpapers and a retrospective of black and white images, documents and other ephemera tell a story as they are layered and adhered onto paper. The torn papers suggest architecture or blocks of crumbling monuments. Birds are the protagonists of the works as they forage what is left behind by mankind. Themes touched on include conceptual play with DaDa references, alongside a serious message about mortality, the cycle of life, and the fragility of nature.

Signed on back and initialed lower right. Ships unframed with a small white margin for ease of framing. My framing recommendations are included.
