About The Artwork

This artwork tells a story about mental health. During the COVID pandemic lockdown people were isolated in their homes. Was a lot of uncertainty for all of us. Even though I kept busy with my artwork, there were some days that being alone in my apartment was too much. I think everybody experienced that. So I decided to create a bird that represent a person who's suffering from that, and even though it's raining, sky is blue as a metaphor that eventually that storm will pass, and human resilience will overcome a difficult period. Hope is the key.
