Art Description

Collage: Fabric, Textile, Found Objects, Paper, Fiber on Paper, Other.

This piece was done while doing a residency in Stockholm. I used materials I found while there. It's about the growth and creative process of working through ideas, whether creating a piece of art or figuring out how to solve a problem. There's the rough, loose beginning of an idea, the fits and starts, worrisome middles, Ah-ha moments and perhaps a satisfying resolution at the end.
This is hung with magnets (on nails in wall), it's very lightweight and can also be framed. It's almost 7 feet tall (image showing this piece in a room on this site is incorrect for the size).
