This little assemblage was created from many different materials: acrylic paint on canvas, hand painted silk, watercolor, marker, and paper. I enjoy combining textures, shapes, colors and patterns to create layers and movement within the piece, work intuitively and experimentally. This work is a reference to the fear of heights.

I live and work in lovely Weehawken, NJ, a small town on the Hudson River. A lifelong artist, I studied at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and Rome, Italy. Inspired by nature, landscapes and erosion, I love organic shapes. I work intuitively and experimentally, driven by composition, color, and texture. My experiences in textile design and printmaking inform my process, showing up in the pattern, layering and composition of the work.
