Collage: Wood, flax canvas, cardboard, wooden charcoal, Acrylic, hot glue and styroglas. I am working on the concept of recycling art, using natural elements to create art, rather than using only industrial fine art products. All has been settled in a wooden box closed by a plastic glass as a reliquary of the Nature. All material used here are provided by plants weather growing today or which had been on earth a long time ago (petroleum products) Here I am using charcoal (used for BBQ), to figure out the trunc and canopy of a tree. A carbonized tree as the Nature is burnt by our society. Cut leaves are used to figure out the flood of land due to global warming. Le willow tree is called "Saule Pleureur" in french, which might be understand as a pun (seule + Pleureur) meaning lonely crier. It expresses the vanity of our industrial global world that leaves everyone alone, to cope with his destroyed life. This box is a reliquary of the Nature, a reliquary that allows to bring back land art in our house. A reliquary of the today's disaster.
