ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This picture is created from layers of sheer fabrics such as silk, chiffon and organza. I mainly use recycled fabrics in my work. I then sew these pieces onto a recycled cotton base and free machine embroider on top . This creates texture and depth. I then stretch the piece onto an artists canvas and so the piece is ready to hang.
