Inspired by amazon Park in Eugene, always a somewhat visually interesting place to walk. It has an almost unreal poetical feel with high clouds and beautiful trees and paths. In some ways it is so typical of Eugene, OR that being in the park gives one the sense of being in a unique place conducive to health, well-being, and immersed in nature. This is a big, open space for walking with distant hills and winding paths. I hope the viewer will feel this connection with nature and visual poetry. I chose oil paints because of its malleability.
