ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Discrepant and aggressive strokes directed against a threatening background give the viewer a sense of ominous foreboding. While there is light, it seemed to be oppressed and held back. Nor are murky openings reassuring. The contour at the bottom is not a helping hand. The work is printed on Hot Press Fine Art Smooth Bright White paper (an acid free, 100% cotton rag media with a bright textured finish, yielding an extremely high color gamut and black density). It is signed and numbered by the artist, accompanied by a CoA, and shipped without hanging hardware, in a very sturdy tube protected against folding and puncture.
