About The Artwork

This abstract black and white composition depicts three stages of human life. The first smaller solid circle represents birth. It represents a great and wonderful life that is part of everyone’s plan. The second largest circle stands for life with all its ups and downs, life that is wondrous and sometimes hard, life that is beautiful but sometimes difficult. It represents each and every one of our lives, and how we make it and how we choose to live it. The third and final circle is a slightly faded one, and this is death. Death no matter how much we try to avoid it, when the time comes, it comes. This abstract interpretation simply asks one thing, are you doing everything to live the best life you can? Printed on archival print high quality Canson Edition Etching Rag paper. If preferred it can also be printed on Hahnemuhle Daguerre Canvas. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This work can be done in a smaller size, ask Saatchi for support please.

Driven from within Mona's abstract art, photography and digital works comes from a place of gratitude and understanding one's self. 'Art is beautiful' is this Australian artist's simple philosophy. She believes art should bring joy to one's heart, one's home and have the ability to transform spaces into something exciting and energising. This self taught artist works in a wide variety of mediums. Her work is inspired by the moment, a feeling, a memory, an emotion, an experience, thus bringing the canvas, photography, mixed media or digital creations to life. She ranges from using vivid bursting colours to subdued palettes, each a depiction of something close to her heart. She plays with form and colour bringing a richness, vibrancy and depth to each of her works. Her extensive travels include India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, USA, South Africa to name a few. She has also had the exposure of living in Australia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia and this allows her to express her creativity in different ways. Experiencing various cultures and societies has contributed in her evolution as an individual and as an artist. "I love what I do and when I am creating art I am transported to a place of peace and solitude, happiness and contentment, energy and inspiration." Accepts commissioned work.
