ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A carpenter in London in 1893, sick of his poverty and otherwise miserable life, takes materials from work to his rental room. From the series "Quiet Interiors", still lifes of a person in a room. Sometimes a famous person, sometimes an unknown person. The scenes are situated in the period 1850 to 1940, roughly my life period 100 years ago. The original source is a 3d model that only exists on my computer and one can wander through using VR glasses. An image was taken from each model and printed on photo paper.
