Helsinki (Finland) based artist born in 1979. I started photographing in the 90’s. Capturing fleeing moments on film and spending time in the dark room’s red dim light studying the endless possibilities mesmerized me. It also gave me platform to experiment, express and explore different ideas and the world around me. Today my choice of media is digital photography. It allows me to record moments as well as create them. My passion is collecting fragments; stories told by walls, surfaces and spaces. For me these often overlooked, forgotten and dismissed things hold silent beauty within themselves. These fragments have the potential to reflect the nature of life itself; beauty combined to inevitable destruction and change of things.
