My artwork is a reflection of my deep fascination with three-dimensional geometric forms, rooted in a lifelong passion for architecture and light. I strive to create harmony through the interplay of shapes, their relationships, and the color palettes I choose. Influences from architecture and graphic design are evident throughout my work, balancing expressions of freedom and movement with a persistent sense of order. Art serves as a therapeutic space for me, allowing me to lose myself while challenging my creativity and seeking the perfect composition that I sense exists within each piece. As I develop a sculpture, I often create additional works through photography and digital prints, discovering numerous smaller compositions when I examine the piece from various angles. Each sculpture begins as a sketch that I gradually refine, evolving into a unique visual language that defines the character of the work. This process of continual exploration grants me the freedom to experiment until the piece communicates a clear and compelling message, signaling that the design is complete. My subject matter emerges from the world around me—nature, society, art, architecture—and is sometimes influenced by my personal feelings and experiences. I capture initial ideas and inspirations in my sketchbook, revisiting them over time. Often, designs that once seemed unremarkable reveal unexpected potential as my perspective shifts. I am inspired by the challenge of finding order within chaos, pushing the boundaries of my creativity, and drawing inspiration from the work of other artists, architects and designers. Technically, my sculptures are three-dimensional compositions first envisioned through two-dimensional sketches. To achieve precision, I employ CNC machinery to cut the individual pieces, then apply various finishing techniques to complete each work. This combination of meticulous planning and hands-on crafting makes my art distinctive and expressive of my visual language.
