About The Artwork
I am a triathlete, artist, wife, and mother. This is my original hand-drawn illustration of a female swimmer. Swimming, biking, running. Someone once said the concept of triathlon sounds less like a sport than it does an escape plan from Alcatraz. It is this inherent oddness of the sport that I most enjoy – it feels fun and zany and wild to come running up out of open water, tearing the wetsuit down as you run, and then hopping on my bike sopping wet.
