I have my residence in Waregem, Flanders, Belgium. During my education at the Highschool of Gent I focused on designing and producing furniture. More than 30 years I have been a main supplier of essential materials to a lot of well known producers of custom made furniture in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France and also provided them professional advice regarding how to assemble and finish their projects. In 2016 I decided to explore new horizons and sold my company. Finally I could make my dream come true and use fully my inspiration to create new products. This was really an opportunity for me to be more creative, inventive and innovative and to use my knowledge to design unique furniture objects. Now I could realise which I had longed for quite some time: step out from the comfort zone where my former customers almost never came out, namely building cabinet elements next to each other. It's my intention to create limited edition furniture objects based on interlaced elements, and provide the artwork/workpiece with an artistic appearance and real value. It's always my vision to strive for the best. I conscientiousely choose which materials to use and have the ambition to obtain a personal finishing touch. The interested person always obtains a unique piece. The whole process of being creative continuously challenges me to look for new techniques and applications to express myself. With the use of different types of paint and application methods I make paintings where it is possible for the viewer to delve into and give the artwork his own interpretation. I am not easily satisfied at all with what I create and will only release a work if the expression is finally acceptable to me. Every new work means a challenge for me and searching to do better next time
