Timeless Museum grade Giclee satin finish is used to protect and preserve the print. A Giclee' canvas print of the painting is wrapped around a 1.2cm thick, solid wooden block. The Canvas blockwrap is a contemporary and durable alternative to the traditional Canvas Wrap. Once the original painting is printed on the canvas and mounted as a canvas blockwrap, which features an image fold design with the tightest corners able to achieve by hand. Museum grade Giclee' satin finish is used to protect and preserve the print, which is enhanced with hand painting acrylic gel medium embellishment, prior to despatch. This turns the Giclee canvas print into an original canvas painting - digital oil. Each embellished painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, numbered and signed by me. Art pieces are wrapped in Glassine paper to ensure archival protection and then packaged into cardboard boxes for transport. My love of art and all things arty started at an early age whilst watching my father with his oil painting, mainly landscapes. The trouble was for me was that it all seemed to take too long. So I never really tried to do it. It was later in life that I saw a piece of artwork that was for me like switching a light on inside me. It gave me a buzz. I found out that it was called Repousse' it was the reverse embossing of copper sheet, I watched someone doing it and the tools they were using and then found out the details. The next stage was one of the easiest things I have ever done in my life. I just started to make my own 3 dimensional copper and pewter plaques, it just felt so natural. I felt amazing especially when I started to sell them at the Covent Garden Market in London. Did this for a few years. Some years later, the second light switch turned on when I saw digital painting, this was the biggy because I always really wanted to paint, so I did the same thing again and invested in Waycom Tablet and pen Artrage software and tried to paint. This was not so easy. I pursovered and began to find that it was starting to work for me. Now after many years I am a digital artist, but still learning. I believe watching my father at such an early age was the key for me to be able to achieve the digital painting, I get flashbacks to his way of working, all very strange?. I hope you like some of my work because as well as my own satisfaction of being able to do this I always feel good when other people appreciate what I have painted.
