Work made on 310 gr Canson Infinity RAG Photo cotton paper, with Epson UltraChrome HD ink of long durability, UV protection Work from the new series "Strange Times". This work is based on personal reflections on the pandemic situation we are experiencing. The situation of helplessness, the personal loneliness that, although surrounded by loved ones, we face. I seek to express in an abstract way with photographic images manipulated, combined and juxtaposed emotional patterns of the human being and society. The compositional structures generate forms created impulsively to make the viewer's gaze intervene, reflecting on himself and society. The uncertainty of a situation that we do not understand, the impotence of not winning this battle quickly, creates empty, neutral spaces that are reflected in my work. Time stands still, nothing progresses with "normality", we live in a stage of an alternative reality that creates voids, irreplaceable. Signed and dated on the back of the work with Certificate of Authenticity. All limited edition prints are accompanied by a signed, dated and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Signed on the back.

Photography is the fundamental basis of my work, both in traditional photography and in interpreting and investigating other pictorial techniques. Basically, most of my work is done in black and white, using different supports, paper, wood, cardboard, fabrics, etc,... I use photographic emulsion on wooden supports as well as transfer and acrylics. My way of seeing photography is to unify the photographic technique with the plasticity of matter and paint, it is my challenge. As is the case of my latest works where the use of the chromatic masses of the photographs are transformed into compositions of geometric abstraction, much more plastic.
