Growing up in Southern California, living in Oregon, and traveling the world in between have given me an incredible opportunity to experience the significance of nature first hand. As a surfer, my relationship with the ocean has strongly influenced my artwork and the organizations I have chosen to work with. Surfing has also taken me to far off destinations, where tribal and native designs have left impressions on my psyche and made their way into my style. After decades of building a successful career as an artist with my surf/nature/outdoor focus, I have been pulled to explore a more cosmic and abstract direction with my art. Once my sketchbooks started overflowing with ideas, I new it was time to bring this new direction to reality. In 2020 I launched my second brand, Abstract Pursuits.
