ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Take Me To Space” is an entity not limited to earth and I explore that mysticism in these portrait series as muses are dressed in astronaut suits taken over by organic wonders. In this body of works I’m interested in using vibrant depictions of women to evoke femininity, and creating a universe of how I perceive a futuristic setting, as an homage to all black women.
