Jessica de Vreeze is a French-American visual artist whose work captures the energy and soul of people and places. Born in Paris and now based in Miami. Her creations, influenced by her multicultural background, are both thoughtful and dreamlike. For Jessica, “life is art, and art is an essential part of life.” When asked what inspires her when she create. It’s the raw emotions she feel, translated into colors, shapes, and textures. It’s the way light plays on surfaces, revealing traces and details left behind by interactions between humans and their surroundings. She is fascinated by how nature pops into our urban settings, subtly yet powerfully. This exploration of emotion and connection feels like a dialogue with her favorite art movement—Fauvism. Its bold colors and expressive energy resonate deeply with how she experiences and interpret the world. Jessica’s work has been exhibited worldwide for almost a decade, with collectors from 4 continents, over 60 cities in 18 countries bringing her pieces into their homes. In her artistic practice Jessica has increasingly been won over by the possibilities of integrating painting into her photography and diving into painting from a photographic point of view.
