Greetings! I'm Tetyana, a Ukrainian-American artist whose journey into the art world began during the lockdown in 2020. What started as a personal exploration quickly became a passion as I moved from acrylics to the rich textures of oil paints, capturing scenes of nature, architecture, and more. By the end of 2023, I had embraced watercolor, thanks to formal training with Nataliia Kupchyk Watercolor Art School, finding joy in its fluidity and the way it meshed with my project management skills and eye for detail. My love for nature infuses every piece I create, guiding my artistic evolution. My recent venture into digital collage has opened up new avenues for exploring societal and mental health themes, blending my artistic journey with a modern lens. Influenced by the likes of Monet, Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Redon, and others, my art serves as a bridge between my Ukrainian heritage and my present, offering a therapeutic escape and a means of expressing the complexities of my connection to Ukraine. As a self-taught artist, I hope to inspire others to believe in their potential, embracing art as a transformative and brave pursuit.
