ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Older US cars are wonderful, but is it needed to own one or a whole collection? More important is the feeling you have in your memory - from spotting such cool cars or seeing them in movies. To drive such a car is not very nice, because gasoline is expensive, and it pollutes the air on every meter - that irritates. The artwork symbolizes all kinds of good memories connected to vehicles of the 70ies and 80ies. To travel, an electric car is nowadays the much better choice. Andy Warhol's style of listing and repeating products. My random color circles with an extension - expressing a possible meaning of a certain color code.

(*67) Architect and Designer. Since I was young, I have been into visual arts and photography. And into protecting nature. I like creating new things and finding new concepts that fit the times. I was an early adopter of solar energy, electric cars, heat pumps, and a sustainable lifestyle. I consider myself not so much as artist - but someone who is observing nature and enjoys the beauty of simple things. I do my creative work mostly for myself - there is joy in the process of finding the colorful compositions. The algorithms can be a useful tool to find different and more natural images than the ones constructed strenuously by hand. ----- Some work and concepts : -1995: IKEA as a hotel. A successful project at ETHZ. -1999: 3D real-time passenger info system for Zurich airport. (Presentation). The realization of 3d games in VRML for an internet company. Pioneer in Macromedia Flash / VRML / Renderings -2000 Design + construction of a loft bed. Design + realization of hanging lamps for an architectural office. -2000: Concept for new Stralsund Sea Museum, Architectural competition, 2nd price. -2001: 'Satellites of reality': Art concept for unused subway tunnels in Berlin. Competition. -2004: Onlineshop concept for typical Swiss products - realized, meanwhile sold: -2008: New concept for dance events, manifest with 20 points. Later realized partly in events. -2009: Concept and online platform for a really fair insurance. -2014: Design + construction of 2 double beds on different levels. -2015: - Own watch-brand. 3 Series of unique watches. -2018 opening of an architecture office in Basel, Switzerland ----- How would the Color code for feelings, ideals, and persons look like? The software for random color graphics was developed in 2004 in my web design company 'subwave Internet'. Version 1 was available for many years to download. Gerhard Richter did his big series 'Strips' with random color stripes only in 2013. These could be influenced or even generated by my free software. The same with other artists's concentric circles which appeared in exhibitions after 2010. Especially these color concentric graphics with random colors I first used. With the later enhanced software, different graphic styles in very high resolution could be created. Only about 1 of 50 random images is interesting enough for further workmanship and print.
