ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This art was designed digitally. After defining the square format for my work area, I started drawing concentric squares of different colors. Next, I selected regions of the drawing, in different formats, and applied the color inversion feature. This is how I arrived at this result: a multicolored artistic work, which invites the observer to stay in front of it for many moments, unraveling all the logic that involves this game of shapes and color tones.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
