About The Artwork

From COVID-19 Collection: March 6th: we continue to receive instructions on how to prevent the spread of virus. We no longer shake hands and even try not to get close. Do you think this will help? Or we are all already infected, because not everyone has symptoms and the incubation period is 14 days. In the meantime, the number of people getting sick is growing rapidly. The texts in german and Russian on the painting: "How we protect ourselves!", "The number of infected people in Switzerland is increasing rapidly". Information to the collection: "Documentary about COVID19 - For Patrons, Supporters and Art Angels". We are living now during the historical moment: new Coronavirus pandemic goes through the world. The people are scare and unsafe, the markets are falling and nobody knows about the whole consequences, which the virus brings to us. As an artist, I can't step away and not to speak about my feeling and thoughts. This is a non-commercial project to document and share the information and my feelings. Paintings on high quality, acid-free, high density paper 360g/m2. My Instagram: anastasiavasiljeva

Anastasia Vasilyeva is a contemporary artist living in Switzerland who pushes her viewers into the world of scientific art. She fills her paintings with many symbols and endless details using her own signature painting technique. By mixing basic colors of acrylic paint directly on the canvas, Anastasia creates combinations of meditative colors. At the same time, she complements the paintings with various formulas, pouring her expressive nature into the artwork. Each work surprises the viewer and pushes them to unravel codes and formulas. Anastasia holds a certificate from MoMa. Since 2018, her paintings have been presented at exhibitions in Europe and the USA. She is an active art blogger with a YouTube Channel and the winner of art competitions organized by Artbox Gallery in Zurich.
