#16919, 100x125 cm charcoal on light grain drawing paper 90g/m2. Sold without frame. Send in a tube. With charcoal drawings, I pursue a unique goal : pleasure. Pleasure of the line, the trace, the grain, the dust, the erasure. Pleasure of the full, of the emptiness, pleasure of the black, values, the dark and the luminous. Pleasure of the rhythm, the curve, the chaos of the forms, the spontaneity in the expression. Pleasure of matter, medium, support, time spent. Pleasure of jubilation in doing and discovery last. Pleasure finally to share and offer to see.

The meeting of a work highlights a pre-existing inner emotion waiting after a trigger to manifest and finally be lived. This is what interests me in Art and motivates me ; to allow, in the fulgurance of the meeting and through what we are working on, a better knowledge of the being that we live. Photographer for several years (I trained in photography at the National Schools of Photography in Arles, then the Fine Arts in Paris), I shut down the camera and dark room in 2008 to return to these first passions that were drawing and painting. The laboratory became a Studio, while at the same time I leave Paris for Brussels. It was at this same time that I began to explore self-taught volume and sculpture. A first work The standing man - in tribute to Antonin Artaud and his drawing The man and his pain and to the walking man of Alberto Giacometti- is quickly followed by many other sculptures in wood, plaster, glass, as so many enjoyed experiences. At the same time, life experiences in the private sphere led me in 2015 to follow an art-therapist course (at the Rhapsodie center in Brussels) : this training initiated my career in the field of personal care, while at the same time opening up new creative energies.
