A Calm Walk in the Woods Study One Drawing

Walking in the woods was a way for me to overcome, emotional difficulties, and began a healing series of Drawing and Paintings. The tragedies we all encounter in life are only part of our humanity. I chose to find my inner child and what I enjoyed in my childhood. With great chaos can begin amazing change,and personal growth with acceptance. This inspired a group of drawings and paintings. The day was beautiful, and as I hiked over a few year period in a meditative way. . I have always enjoyed color, and the expressing of nature. This drawing study began my series A Calm Walk in the Woods . I hope to have captured this feeling of a day, as an expression of love and hope.
