About The Artwork
Child doing acrobatics on horse in circus dress. Both are playing their part. This was a theme I touched upon briefly. It is pastel on Ampersand pastel board (archival). It is prepped to be framed with separators between the glass and pastel. I would think that a young gymnast or horse lover would adore this work. The horse was modeled after Stubs Horse Painting. Having lived abroad, I have a particular love for the Lippizaner Horses.

In 2019, I started to develop computer ideas which I could translate into paintings on silk. The silk paintings themselves are labor intensive but I enjoy tremendously learning new techniques and the producing something beautiful to the eye and touch. While working on these beautiful computer ideas, I decided that they too could adorn someone’s wall. My abstracts, whether computer art or earlier watercolors, are usually based on the familiar. It could evoke the environment or just a feeling.
