Agata Wierzbicka is a Poland-born visual artist, who lives and works in Warsaw. She uses mixed media technique to create figurative collage drawings characterized by minimalist composition, restricted in elements and colours. In her works, Wierzbicka depicts humans and their emotions expressed by body and movement. She underlines the unknown context and character to crystallize the inner feelings representing outer relations. When it comes to technique she experiments with texture, using different media, as well as with layers of different color paper, to transfer the flat drawing into a more complex representation of the depicted subject.
