'Big Love 2021' Drawing

'Big Love' was drawn during the Covid lockdown. Professionally framed with non-reflective gallery glass. ⁠ I think this drawing celebrates that - incorporating patterns, shapes & movement, amongst a few other things harder to put into words.⁠ It's so intricate in places, sometimes becoming abstract & open to interpretation, but you can't see these elements unless you stand closer to the drawing.⁠ I also enjoyed the different textures I can create with pencil, on the heavily textured paper, it reminds me of printmaking and the manner in which you can build up the tonal qualities. from a rich black to a whisper of grey.
