About The Artwork

I like to draw portraits, because faces are interesting to study. People's faces have different expressions. For example, if a person is sad, happy, and angry, you can see it in their face. I to work with charcoal pencils. Charcoal pencils are less expensive than paint, less messy than paint, faster to work with than paint, and less toxic than paint. My work is inspired by Norman Rockwell, Jack Kirby, and Michelangelo. I want my viewers to feel excited, and think of my work as being an inspirational drawing. I think my style, is part realistic and part caricature. I don't want my drawings to look like photographs. I think if a drawing looks like a photograph, it takes away the style.
