VIEW IN MY ROOM
Relatives work at the Windmill Theatre in London. Was inspired by a friend of theirs who is a dancer. Found this image online via another dancers site 'Nosetotherhinestone'. Gave permission for this piece and followed the process. Very popular online the videos I created whilst drawing her. I've covered dance before. Ballet & Flamenco. Now wanted to do a series exploring the beauty of Burlesque. On 300gsm Fabriano smooth paper. Graphite stick, Faber Castell Matt pencils.

Born in the Midlands, Black Country. Always loved to drew from an early age. Dyslexic so creative naturally more creative. Now UK Somerset based artist / photographer with a great passion for layered works in graphite, charcoal, conte crayon & pencil on paper. Portraiture & figurative. Strong, powerful drawings. Love to work in darker tones for dramatic effect, graphite sticks, 2b, 8b & above. After years of working in therapy, I started to draw, create again. Fell in love once more, realising 'this time' my experience of life and emotion heightened my awareness of what I was trying to capture. Now moving my focus into religious art trying to bring back centuries of beauty from a new perspective.
