Hallo, my name is Silvana and I am a visual artist who specializes in creating illustrations that capture the energy and emotion of music by proxy of animals, mostly birds. I have always been fascinated by the way music can evoke such strong feelings in listeners and I strive to translate that into my artwork. I find that the rhythms, melodies, and emotions conveyed in music often translate beautifully into visual art giving it a unique and sometimes energetic feel. I incorporate elements of my favorite genres into my illustrations through the use of bold colors, very defined contours and unconventional compositions plus large amounts of decorative elements and goldleaf. I find that the process of translating sound into visual art is both rewarding and challenging, and I am constantly seeking new ways to do so. In the last year, I have also ventured into the world of portraiture, using my skills as an artist to capture the unique personalities and features of my subjects transforming them into, at first glance, reductive two-dimensional impressions but nevertheless into very ornate pieces full of detail and depth. I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow as an artist, and I am always open to collaborating with others who share my passion for creating powerful, meaningful artwork.
