Art Description

Drawing: Etching on Paper.

This insect amazed me with its wings - they are transparent, velvet, and so thin, and light, and pearlescent at the same time.
I saw her on a flower in the summer, she was so small, green, so fragile and so beautiful! And I wanted to convey the lightness of being that I felt from her.
I wanted to show this lightness as it is, but if I had made it in full size, no one would have noticed it so tiny - “well, yes, an insect and an insect, a small bug and a small bug.”
And if you enlarge these wings, and look at their beauty, lightness, such grace of lines and subtlety, then it amazes, then you can really consider it, admire it!

Etching printed from copper plate size 75,2/58,5 sm (29,6/23'')
Intaglio printing.
Limited edition of 11.
Imprint 11 from 11.
Signed and numbered by the artists.
Created in 2005

NOTE:
Etching paper can wavy from changes in humidity and temperature, but don't worry - when you place the etching in the frame under the glass, it will flatten out.
Or you can bring the etching in the framing workshop for alignment, while some paper will be cut off from the edges.
