About The Artwork

Third work of the "Quarter horse portraits" collection, a series of portraits that want to pay homage to quarter horses, a breed that the artist knows very well practicing western disciplines with this type of horse for several years. The artist's priority is to show horses in the most natural way possible, in their simple and real “being a horse”. This does not take away their beauty or strength, on the contrary: it takes away all the superfluous to show the natural beauty and harmony of these fantastic creatures. A horse, being a free animal, in its real essence. The work is also the result of the collaboration between drawing and photography, that of Marco Brunetti's Tristan Dark Horses studio, one of the most important equestrian communication studios in the world. This piece is made with a watercolor base then enriched by the characteristic ink drawing of this artist, the support is a natural paper 100% cotton 640 grams.
