The series is inspired by my memories from Thailand and the Philippines, as well as nostalgia for the sun, bright colors and freedom of travel.

This is an attempt to mentally escape from fear and worries about what is happening now in the world (COVID19, pandemic, economic plague, human loss). My sketch meditation.

I created this series of sketches during breaks from working on large paintings. I wanted to share a positive attitude, the energy of the sun, the hope of humanity and people's understanding of the situation.
I made a budget series in order to increase the availability of art in such a difficult time for different people.
I would be glad if you support my initiative.

/ The artwork sends in a frame (wood, color black / 2 cm).

Mari Boro - philologist, photographer, artist. Member of the International federation of Artists. Mari is a bright representative of the Russian millennials who were brought up on the remnants of Soviet traditions, but at the same time caught rapid technological and digital revolution. Mari lives on important and urgent problems through the game form of cartoonish images, thereby reducing emotionality, as it were, transferring it to another plane of unreality. This helps to look at the situation more objectively, with humor, to reduce the strain. Leading motives of her projects - this is the self-identification of a person of the "new time", the philosophy of humanism, the nature of modern society and ethical exacerbation. Mari Boro is a reflection of her time. As it really is. Seeking, contradictory, emotional, rebellious, not understanding the "framework" and with an inner strain.
