This is the next painting in my collection. In this picture, I made a challenge to myself. Draw it with vertical strokes only. And, as you can see, it almost worked out. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I am in the making.

In short - I’ve been drawing since childhood. Probably everyone can say this about himself. Therefore, I will supplement it. The first picture in the style of the Crazy House I painted in the fifth year of school. I liked it and I decided to continue. The first works were painted on a notebook sheet, but then I decided to switch to a larger format. During this time, I managed to finish art school, but we didn’t study there to draw with ink, so I had to study everything myself, but more on that later. I liked the freedom that surrealism offers. In any style, whether it be a portrait, landscape, cartoon or other, you are limited by the scope of style. Surrealism is limited to the framework of surrealism. Where is this frames? I dont know. If you are painting a realistic portrait, you have to make everything perfect - shadow, tone, halftone, proportion. It seems boring to me. I do not try to say that the work of a portrait painter is easy - on the contrary. But in the rest of the styles, except surrealism, I feel pushed into frames. Most of my existing work is now with my close friends. They really liked to consider these drawings, so they asked to draw something for them. After school, while studying at a medical university, I thought that there would be no time for drawing. I was wrong. Rest is needed everywhere, and drawing helps me a lot to relax. In the second year of training, I decided to try to draw with ink, nothing complicated at first glance. But I was surprised how much control and inspiration an ordinary nib pen and a can of ink give. Even the smell of ink helps focus and draw. The military conflict in the territory where I studied left an imprint on Crazy House 7 and, I think, on all other paintings. They have become darker. I always have mixed feelings when I paint my paintings - at first the moment of enlightenment sets in. As if for a moment a sketch of a picture appears. I just need to remember it, and then, the most difficult thing is to draw and fill in the details. Then comes the stage when I doubt whether I will finish the picture at all. I want to leave everything as it is. And then I want to continue to draw even more. It is in this way that all my paintings presented in this gallery are painted. In the last years of my university studies, I realized that a nib pen is not enough - it's a great tool, but I needed more control in thin lines. So I got technical pens.
