About The Artwork
This classical figure drawing was inspired by traditional motivations such as the wonder at the variety of emotions a face possesses, a classical and original beauty of a model and elegance of a moving figure. I've added a twist to the composition by bringing in the subject of the necessity to put the beauty up for a show and the conflict it creates both in regard to psychology and the creative process. The same fact is two things at once really, as it's a pity and it's a motivating necessity.
