Depth Drawing

Jessica spent her early years sitting next to her father, an artist himself, observing and learning – most likely imitating him. Exposed to the wonders of colour, the Airbrush boom in the 80’s to the very first computer based graphics, Jessica’s fascinating upbringing instilled the artist in her. Though growing up, Jessica had to discover that within herself. As a child of an artist, she grew up with a desire to create art. After earning her Bachelor degree in Arts & Graphic Design at the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut, Jessica was drawn to painting. Her work combines POP art, modern movements inspiration, risqué, details and harmonised colours. ‘I have dedicated my life to painting since 2006. I use acrylic, gouache on canvas and ink on paper using a variety of techniques. I am constantly inspired by everything around me: from ancient buildings, travel adventures, memories, and social movements. For me, art is an escape, a breather, somewhere I can immerse and transmit my feelings and emotions. I am a sensitive person and each of my paintings start from a trigger in my heart which transforms to a drawing that I try to illustrate my feelings into colours. I am passionate and dedicated to continuously evolving my art and techniques.’
