A drawing for an imaginary sculpture. Influenced by ancient Egyptian carvings, the subject is a modern reincarnation of a Godlike figure. An American football player, worshipped for a specific skill. His pronouncements on almost anything carry weight. Drawn with a Mars Lumograph, the head is rendered in chiaroscuro with a granite texture created with a special technique involving a stone backing transferred to the face. 90gsm white paper is used to enable transfer of texture. It is signed and dated on the back. Provided unframed in a tube. It looks best in a simple black frame.
