ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Note- these are 2 drawings sold as a pair.---------------- Solar Eclipse, May 29th,1919. this drawings are inspired by some of the original photographic astronomical plates of the Eddington Experiment in Sobral (Brazil) and Principe (Gulf of Guinea) to observe and test Einstein's theory of General Relativity, proven right for the first time in history. The simultaneous expeditions were organized by two British astronomers, Frank Watson Dyson and Arthur Stanley Eddington. ----------------------------------------------- I hold a degree in Natural Sciences and I kept studying astrophysics for many years after my graduation while pursuing my path in the arts. I was invited to prestigious institutions such as CERN, IAS, and the Department of Theoretical Physics in Princeton along with attending many lectures throughout the years. My entire work and life is devoted to the Universe. I'd be an astronomer if I didn't decide to be an artist.
