My acquaintance with art began in childhood, thanks to my mother, who enrolled me in art school. A defining moment on my path to becoming a graphic artist was the influence of my teacher, Ivan Serbinov, who prepared me for admission to the Academy of Arts. His belief in my talent and guidance inspired me not to give up on my calling and dedicate myself to art. The foundation of my artwork is built upon two interconnected themes: the preservation of history through visual art and the protection of nature. I am deeply fascinated by detail, which initially led me to explore and recreate old architecture. These buildings, having lost their original luster and gradually fading into the past, became symbols of enduring beauty and the importance of historical heritage. I believe that history demands our respect and careful consideration, and through my works, I aim to show how crucial it is to value and preserve it for future generations. My initial drawings, dedicated to historical buildings, whether majestic or partially destroyed, are attempts to capture their uniqueness and beauty, drawing attention to the need for their preservation. Simultaneously, my passion for nature, especially birds and animals, occupies a significant place in my art. Witnessing how many species are on the verge of extinction due to human activity, I feel the need to address environmental protection issues. In my works, images of birds and animals frequently appear, each carrying a call for care and conservation of our planet's biodiversity. These images serve as a reminder of the beauty and vulnerability of nature, as well as our responsibility for its future. Both of these themes — the preservation of historical heritage and the protection of nature — are intricately woven into my art, reflecting my deep conviction in the necessity to cherish and take care of our past and present to ensure the future of our planet and all its inhabitants. In my artistic approach, I strive for simplicity and sincerity, preferring to depict objects and scenes in their authentic, detailed beauty. It is important to me that my works are immediately comprehensible, without the need to unravel any mysteries of content. Art, in my understanding, should be accessible and clear, so that every viewer can find something of their own in it. Consciously choosing a ballpoint pen as my primary tool, I have noticed the extraordinary ability of this simple material to convey depth and texture.
